It's awfully hard to get Houses at Summer Bay in the summer. And I think Frank might need several units?

How about Sheraton Vistana or one of the HGVCs?

No on Sheraton Vistana, too? I hear you don't need to leave that one either.

I was not impressed when I saw them a few years back. BTW after arguing my point I got my family to go with end of Aug 2011, I might be going into the first week of Sept. I will find out soon enough but if I can get lucky enough to land a 3 bedroom at OLCC I am going to work around that unit.

It could be a Post 5/30 trading power issue, but I don't see any 3-bedrooms until September, 2011, all three Villages. West 9/2, the others 9/10 & 11

I am starting to think about doing a week at Summer bay and a week in OLCC. What is available now that goes into each week is I can do North Village and then Summer bay.

We have not been there since soon after River Island opened, and the poolplex at the North Village was being rehabbed, so I can't report on the current status of it. But, previously it was very nice. I recall it having a slide, a nice pool, wading/kiddie pool (for BigFrank ), but no hot tub.

That was awhile back, and things change.

I called the resort tonight to find out what age do you have to be to drive the mouse boats. I have to call in the morning to find out unless someone here knows.
I also asked what areas to stay at and the woman said west village has a lot of activates. Is the west village by the Check in? She said the east and river island are the newest.

We are going to the East Village

Our family of 4 (mid forty-ish couple with 2 tween daughters) are going to OLCC East Village in a 2 bedroom suite the last week of July this year. We have never been there but after being at the Grand Mayan in Riviera Maya, this place must be similar in absolute hugeness. All the "villages" mean lots of driving to different areas of the resort. I heard the East Village has very nice rooms but you have to drive a bit to most of the amenities, not a big deal to us since we have a car. I will write a review of our experience when we get back.

Anyone have a recommendation for a timeshare tour for park tickets? We know how to handle their pressure. Just looking for the most compensation for our time. It doesnt have to be the OLCC tour either.
