Jacksonville, FL Things to do?

We are taking a cruise out of Jacksonville, FL in September and are flying in a day early. What is there to do in the Jacksonville, FL area?

I'm not too familiar with Jacksonville, but we like wandering along the riverwalk.

Jacksonville beach is pretty popular, has some nice seafood restaurants.

If you have time, a drive to St. Augustine is a way to spend the day.

I live in Jax (currently out of the country, though). If you're in Jax City proper, swing by the zoo to kill some time. Good exhibits, small crowds even on the weekends, and clean. If drinking beer is your thing, go check out the Anheuser Busch brewery; they do free tours, or you can pay around 25 dollars a person and take an in depth guided "brewmaster" tour.

I'll second the riverwalk. There are some interesting museums and restaurants.

If you're sailing out of Mayport, go check out the beach. Jax Beach is not bad at all.
