Liki Tiki Village and Sheratons Vistana Villages.
3bed available at the liki only 2bed at vistana.
Wife is leaning toward Vistana, I feel liki tiki may be more enjoyable for the young'ens.
    Any insight is appreciated.

It really depends on your plans while you are there. Vistana is located on the East Side of Disney. It is much closer to Sea World, Universial Studios, Down Town Disney, and International Drive. Liki Tiki is located on the West Side of Disney.

If most of your plans are using the amities at the resort and going to Disney, Liki Tiki would be a good choise. It has a nice pool/water park.

If you will be satisfied with reqular swimming pools, and plan to visit parks other than Disney, Vistana would be a better choise.

I'd also probably recommend Liki Tiki because of the themed pool for kids. However, what makes the wife happy is usually the best decision you can make.. You can always stay at Vistana Villages and buy passes to Aquatica (it's maybe a mile down the road from the resort). Aquatica is FANTASTIC!

Also,if you decide on Vistana; as a Florida Resident, you may want to check out the Fun Card at Sea World. Unlimited access to Sea World for all of 2010. If one of you purchase a Passport (includes free parking) and the rest of the family purchase Fun Cards, you can stop by Sea World all week long and not feel guility if you only spend a few hours at a time.

Question how old are the children? Both resorts have excellent amenities for young children.

I would check out both resorts website.

The key to me, is do you need a 3 bedroom unit or a 2 bedroom unit?

          You with enjoy eith resorts.

We will be taking our next trip at Vistiana. I don't have your answer. But, I do have a question that someone here may answer that will help you in your choice.

I have heard that Vistiana offeres shuttles to Disney. Anyone confirm?
            How about any other parks.

We will have a car and I'm not really a shuttle person - but would be nice to know.

We decided on Vistana Villages. TLRs 3bed had already been taken so I went with wifes choice. We'll be going to Universal parks, not disney so its closer than TLR. We'll be there Labor day week. Excited. Wanna start packing now!

Just hint if you go to Islands of Adventure.. Get to the park when it opens and hit the Harry Potter ride first. You'll likely only have about a 30 minute wait rather than 2 hrs. That "village" is absolutely mobbed within an hour of the park opening. It's amazing the draw that new attraction has...

Neither resort would be a deal-breaker. Both would be adequate for an Orlando vacation.
