In the processing of booking the following for DW and her girl friends:

2-bedroom @ Via Roma, Bradenton Beach, on the beach, with our crappiest trader: $179 (On Hold)
Roundtrip Airfare: $76 each
Rental Car: $20/day (or less, haven't bid yet)

I'd be interested in a review for this property if she's willing and she goes.

Thinking you had abused a few BG florida resorts in the past. I guess this wasn't one of them.

Well, it is RCI, so here's how this morning has gone.

1. Put resort on Hold and got an email confirming that.
2. Got DW's GFs committed.
3. Booked airfare, $220 something for 3, roundtrip
4. Booked rental car, $194
5. Went to RCI to confirm resort . . . and nothing was there on Hold
6. Called RCI and auto-stuff was not working, got disconnected after message saying there are technical problems.
7. Called RCI again and got what seemed to be their Nigerian call center. He said it was there, on Hold, and it would be the same as the online fee. Took it and paid.
8. Went to RCI.com to print confirmation. Still not there. Yeah, logged out and back in several times.
9. The deposit I used is gone, but no Confirmed exchange.
10. The $20 credit is gone, too.
11. No confirmation email either.

I called RCI back and was transferred to someone not expecting to get me transferred to them, as I was not expecting to be transferred. She was able to copy and email a pdf file of the confirmation while I was still on the phone.

Online still has not updated and she said there are some delays in that today.

I had her check the credit in our account, and it is perfect. She said Guides are not supposed to be able to charge online rates for things they do, but, obviouly, they can, as feedback has said they can.

So, it may not be online, but I do have it in writing.

Now I can go ahead with other plans.

I seem to be having a little problem getting into the TUG Ratings.

It probably isn't rated too high, but it is not bad at all. The unnamed spouse will enjoy the Bloody Mary Welcome on Sunday and the mid week party too.
It is more attractive than the units at BBC and Seaoats, but not like a Hyatt, etc.

Still trying to add one more, but everyone is excited.

We are sure we have seen the place on one of our many drives along there. I believe at the time they were building condos across the little street to the south.

they do have some units across the street which we stayed in and felt like targets everytime we tried to cross the street. But all the two bedrooms are gulf side.

This should be the Street View, and it is not the place I'm thinking of.

I'm always amazed by Street View.
