Another article on this... It contains a very troubling quote attributed to CFI's attorney, Richard Epstein.

Epstein said CFI is "a company that is operating in a troubled economic climate" and does not have money to pay the debt.

Ouch!

A quote from the attorny for CFI


“All CFI has promised to do is to allow a judgment to be entered against them,” Epstein said. “There has never been a promise to pay. We have a final judgment. This case is over.”

I'm not so certain this sort of aorgance is going to fly in a court of law. If I were Westgate, I think I'd shut up, pay up and hope there's nothing else coming around the corner to take a piece of me.

Personally, if they really thought that burning a judges time using the trick of a little word play was a good idea, I hope they get smacked down so hard that it REALLY hurts.
