What is going on week Ending March 20th

I will be buying a short 3 night cruise from March 17th to March 20th.
The 20th is one of the few black out dates I can't use an air award.
What is so special about this day.....week?

DS has spring break beginning 3/18, other colleges likely do to. Could that be it?

Figueres - Southwest only has about 10 days they black out the use of certificates and I had to pick one!!!

The cost of the flights to return on that day are expensive. Darn - it was a surprise 3 night cruise on Disney's new ship for the family. Fit perfectly with our schedules.

Might have to rethink this.

Spring Break for us in British Columbia too and we Canadians LOVE going to the States for some warm weather. Not sure which coast you're crusing from but there are lots of folks who head down to California from this side of the country during that time.

Of course, Southwest doesn't fly into Canada but we all flock to Seattle or Spokane from southern BC to take advantage of cheap air fares.
