Closest II timeshare to Disney World?

    Closest II timeshare to Disney World?

    Does anyone know which II timeshare would be the closets to DW? And/or one that provides a shuttle to/from Disney World. Thanks!

    We have stayed at Marriot Imperial Palms (Royal and Sable are on the same property). Those were very close - about 1/2 mile straight down the road from one of the entrances. No shuttle service that I recall.

    We also stayed a couple months ago at the Sheraton Vistana VILLAGES (not the resort). The Villages although a bit further away did offer shuttle services to All Disney Parks, Universal, Sea World and nearby outlets. There was a small fee - less than $10 per person.

      Mystic Dunes is right there as well. With all the changes there, I would recommend calling to confirm the shuttle service.

        Marriotts Imperial Palms does have shuttle service, but there is a charge. It would be better to just pay to park at Disney. The units at Imperial Palms are beautiful, and service is wonderful! You also have use of the Marriott Hotel's facilities. We were at Disney's Boardwalk Villas, Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and Imperial Palms the first few weeks of November. Liked all equally, each for different reasons.

          Most have shuttles but have a fee associated with usage.
          Royal/Sabal/Imperial Palms well located and u can use the hotel amenities.

              Thanks guys for the info!

              It's for my DD & her friend. They really don't want to deal with driving, and I think that's for the best. They sometimes drink at the parks.

              They've been spoiled with always staying at a Disney, but now that Disney is with RCI........

              Anyway, I need to get them something from II, and a close location with shuttle service would be great. Thanks again, I'll make a few calls to the suggested locations, and see what they're offering.

                    You will find more than 30 relatively close, about 20 in or bordering Disney.

                          I also found this link which provides 75 Hotels within 3.3 miles of Disney World (Downtown)

                          Hotels near Disney World (Downtown) Orlando

                          Looks like Sheraton Vistana is .7 miles, and Marriott's Imperial/Royal/Sabal is 1 mile. Since I have a priority with both Marriott & Sheraton, that works well for me.

                            When Carol was putting that together we talked. She wanted help in making sure stuff was where it was supposed to be. We talked about doing more. I was gonna do SW FL.

                            Then . . .
