Checking our history, I see that we stayed at Lehigh 7 weeks in Januarys, ending with our first BR&C in 2002.
During our last stay LA had started it's decline. In the middle of the night, the couple staying below us had a tee marker thrown though the bedroom window, showering them in glass as they slept. In the dark, and shock, they/we thought it had been a gunshot. It had sounded like a large caliber gunshot.
That woke the whole building up. All they/anyone had for security was an after-hours number to call (no security on-site), and we waited an hour for anyone to arrive.
That was it for us.
That and our discovery of deposits that would get us to the beach.
