The Resort On Cocoa Beach questions

We have the following exchange with VRI*ety - The Resort On Cocoa Beach, 2 Bedroom starting 02/19/2011. Do we get the unit the owner deposited? If not, what should we request for our best of option of seeing the ocean, etc.?

There are Ocean Front and Ocean View Units. The couple of Ocean View ones we've been in have had an Ocean View. The Ocean Front are best, but not sure if you get choice or not. I believe owners only get which type the own.

Your best best is to call the resort and ask.

If it's first come, first serve (which is my guess), then you need to plan on getting to the resort VERY early. When we stayed there last year and were checking out Saturday morning, the lobby was MOBBED with people waiting to get on the list/assigned for the units they wanted. I'd never seen anything quite like it!

I agree with the "get there early" post. A friend stays there a few weeks each year. She has learned that the earlier you get there and get on their check in list, the better. No guarantee, but she regularly gets better when there eary.
