What is your input about this Resort?

We have a 1 bedroom at the Lahaina Inn Resort, Fort Myers Beach, on December 8, 2012.

We did enjoy our stay at the Bonita Resort and Club.

I have heard that is one of the better resorts on the beach, but won't match up to Coconut Plantation. We live quite near to the coconut mall

Lahaina is one of those cute little motel conversions that owners/guests are quite comfortable with. Middle of the pack for SW FL, probably about 25th out of 52.

On par with BR&C, but with no pontoon boats.

A note to those considering a move to Florida.

Some things are not inexpensive.

Close to $500 to register a car and get plate.

Maybe someone can answer this . . . does the plate go with the car, or does it transfer to the next car, and is every car this expensive, or just the first one(s)?

When you sell and registered car, and replace it with another car, is the fee as high on the replacement car?

In other words, does it cost more than $400 on every car you register in Florida?

we paid 100 when we registered our car, but it did go up. if you bought your car within the last 6 months in another state, they want to see the sales invoice, and they charge you the difference in sales tax between that state and Florida. I am not sure what the cost is now, but I would be surprised if it went from 100 to 400.
