  • FLL to Miami Transportation?

Hi, I am going to a hotel in North Miami beach with my sister and neice and nephew this week. I was looking online for the best mode of transportation (without renting a car) to get from FLL airport to the hotel.

    Do you have a recommendation?

I found a website called TravelInFlorida.com (954-588-5532) which offered a one way private ride for the 4 of us for $65 plus $12 tip.

This price seems reasonable based on others I have seen - am I right?

Also, I obviously want to be sure this is a real company that will be there to pick us up when we get there - have you ever heard of it?

    Thanks a lot!

Haven't heard of them but my cousin works for Wallstreet Limo and they do this sort of thing and I know he's real.

OK I spoke to Wall St Limo and its $99 with tip included -- so about $20 more but the fact that I know they are real is quite enticing

You can also hire a town car at the " shuttle and share a ride" stand just ouside one the arrival level. No reservations needed. It should be a lot less than the $99 you were quoted.

Last summer we used Florida limo (part of Go Airport Shuttle). They are the official transportation company of FLL airport. Cost was $69 for a nice town car sedan for two of us from the airport to Miami Beach (upper South beach area, Fountainebleau Hotel). Service was good, used them also for our return to the airport, cost a little higher for that due to some extra airport fee.

I'm about to use them again, still the same prices this year.

Those are two different links to the same company.

                  Thanks a lot Vino!

I called Go Airport Shuttle - and they said that it would be $50 for a private town car to our hotel (which is in North Miami Beach)!! That's great They also said there is no need for a reservation, and that there is a kiosk at each terminal.. you just go when you get there.

The way back is more expensive - I think $70 but this still saves us money. And I know that its a real company.

                  THANKS AGAIN

Can't wait for some warm sunshine!!

I made an online rez but you're right, it's just as easy to ask at the kiosk. They have both the sedan cars and the shuttle buses available. We thought the sedan was nice, drivers were professional and friendly.

                    Have a nice trip.
