Orlando - Where to stay?

I am sending my nephew, his girlfriend and their 4-year-old daughter to Orlando next March. Which DRI resort is better for family-friendly activities - Cypress Point or Grand Beach? They plan to visit Magic Kingdom and Sea World, so location of the resort may be a factor in their decision. I think both of them are about the same distancefrom the parks, but not entirely sure.

Both are nice resorts but access to Disney (as well as Universal & Seaworld if they wish) is much easier from Cypress Pointe. Plus virtually eveything they could want is an easy walk (no car required) from CP - everything you want to do requires a car at GB. There is nothing within walking distance there. Our choice would be Cypress Pointe.

The resorts are only a 5 minute drive from each other. With a young child Cypress Pointe is the better choice.

Thanks - CP sounds like the logical choice. They will have a car, but I'm sure there will be times when they'd rather walk to surrounding places. If anyone else has any thoughts, please post. They don't have exact dates yet, so I won't be making reservations for awhile.

There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also an entrance to the Disney property is a two minute drive away. The resort is not far from the I4 highway making getting around easy and convenient. The one bedroom units tend to be a little small, but the 2 and 3 bedroom units are nice. The pools are all well taken care of and there is a small store and pizza shop on property. I hope they enjoy the trip.

We vote for Cypress Pointe because of the location to all the amusement parks, shopping malls, grocery stores and the various restaurants in walking distance to and from to this resort.

I like to stay at the beach front if I were to stay in Orlando. I love the place and I keep coming back for more on it.
