  • Club Regency of Marco Island

I just checked into the Club Regency of Marco Island. I wasn't sure what to expect especially since RCI moved me from a gulf view to pool view unit. They did make it up to me, though. I wonder if they rented the unit I exchanged into originally? I should knock on the door and ask.

It's actually quite nice here. It's a small and older timeshare resort. But, it's pretty nice. It's got free wifi, which is always a huge benefit for me.

And, since I have a pool view, I can watch the kids swimming from my room.

Since it's older, it's got just standard bathrooms and no jetted tubs. It doesn't really bother me.

There is covered parking for each unit. One spot for each. Makes it feel like a nice little townhome community.

The living room, dining room and kitchen are all together in one room that is about 20' x 20'. Since it has 2 sliders and a screened in porch, it feels quite large and comfortable.

The bedrooms are small. King in master and twins in the second bedroom.

The wicker furniture in the living room is very soft and comfortable.

It's gonna be fun here this week.

If anyone wants for me to check anything out from them in Marco Island, let me know.

We looked at the HGVC timeshares in Marco - we've been there a few times. Club Regency really is like a cozy little community.

We'll be at the Eagles Nest, unit 306, in December. Little concerned that we'll have no view, although a poster somewhere (here or on TUG, can't remember) said that there should be some view through the pool area.

    I LOVE Marco Island!!

What's not to like about Club Regency, even in a garden view!!!???

Under-unit covered parking, sliding door to garden and pool area, swimming pool, hot tub, BBS grills, easy walk to beach through the sea oats, beach goes forever, easy day-trip to the Everglades, nice golf within reasonable drive, upscale area . . .

And if you are longing for a big, clunky mega-resort, you can just go hang out at the Eagles Nest next door.

Is that where you put you laptop computer on top of the grille while you are reading the BBS?
