Any Florida Flora Experts?

On Boca Grande there are several properties that have beautiful "flora" fences. Where we're at there is a restriction on fences, but not on plants, so you can have any size/height of flora fence you want.

We have an area of our property line that is 41 feet long. At one end there is a mature palm and smack in the middle there is a mature pine (with lotsa roots, of course). We would like to fill the two gaps with something that will be dense, pretty, and about 10 feet tall.

Any thoughts?

Areca Palms or Bougainvileas have been my choice for getting around these city restrictions.

This is funny, a chain link fence with privacy webbing, plus a line of Areca Palms.

In that case, the palms do not do what we want done because they have grown up but not bushed out.

Those are seagrape trees.
They are great too cause they need no care and they give you nice grapes that you can make jams with or just eat them from the tree.
I've used them also to cover ugly hurricane fencing.

Surinam cherry bushes also can grow quite high and give off fruit that you can eat or feed to the birds.
They don't require alot of care but do require pruning to keep them in shape.
Of course you can let them go wild.
We used to make cherry juice out of them.
They don't taste like northern cherries.
