Got my unit on an Interval exchange about 9 months in advance.
I was surprised to be assigned an ocean view unit on the side of the building.
Not sure how Wyndham does assignments but although we were given a lower 4th floor unit it still had a pleasant ocean view.
Our unit appeared to be recently remodeled and was decorated with a nice beachie nautical theme with pastel colors and comfortable furniture.
We had a nice balcony that had a great sunrise and sunset view.
Only complaint about the balcony is that there were only 2 chairs and a small table.
Could have used 4 chairs especially since this was a 2 bedroom sleeps 8 unit.
The dining table was nice and the layout of the room very spacious.
The bathrooms were huge. Way bigger than necessary but they obviously have the space to burn.
Would have enjoyed more of that space on the balcony.
The washer/dryer is in the master bathroom and is stackable.
The master also has the huge tub and shower also.
The kitchen was nice with everything you need.
Granite countertops and nicely stocked.
Parking lot is under the building and very convenient. Never had a problem finding a space.
They give you a code for the garage because apparently the other Pompano resorts also come here for the day use of the pool/beach.
There are two pools on site. One gets more sun than the other and was warmer. The one closer to the beach is warmer.
There is no hot tub but there is a kiddy pool which no one was using.
There is a nice tiki bar on site on the beach which made nice drinks.
There is also a little grocery store on site but we went to Publix so didn't use it.
They rent chairs on the beach from an independent vendor and they charge $5 a day for just the chair or $20 a week.
If you want the umbrella and pad then it's $20 a day or $100 a week.
The beach chair people were nice. It was crowded in this stretch of the beach.
The beach is great though with a sandbar just off the shore so safe for kids.
I did the timeshare tour and they wanted me out of there in about 5 minutes once they saw I purchased resale.
The sales room was packed and they were very nice about the whole presentation if you can call it that.
They gave me a $75 gift Amex and a $50 dining dough card.
Free lunch with a nice view of the beach from the sales room.
This is a nice place to do a timeshare tour. Low pressure if they know you are a resale owner.
I did meet others doing the tour that had been there since breakfast and we were eating lunch.
This is a great little resort and I definitely will be going back again in the future.
