This week we checked out the three newest
DVC Disney Vacation Club Resort Properties.

    Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas

Bay Lake Tower @ The Contemporary

The Villas atThe Grand Floridian Resort
The Crown Jewel of Disney World Resort‎

    We owned at
    Animal Kingdom pre-construction
and discovered we did not care
    for the building/village/parking.

    We also checked out
    Bay Lake Towers last night
and did not care for it.
    Small Lobby, Long Hallways

    Our favorite DVC is
    The Grand Floridian
    Small Lobby, Friendly Staff

Will post mini reviews when we return
from our October Bonnet Creek Vacation.

    Good to hear Marti.
I'm going to Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian in February myself.
Enjoy the rest of your trip and looking forward to your review of that nice Bonnet Creek unit you got.

Marti, if you haven't already done so check out Boardwalk and Beach Club. My wife and I bought into BWV when it first opened and really enjoyed our stays there. We like the atmosphere around the Boardwalk and really enjoy the close proximity to Epcot and the Studios. The negative about BWV is that it is so huge and that the parking is so far away. I hate relying on valet service. But the Beach Club Villas are much smaller, thus more intimate, and you car easily walk to your car. Being smaller it is faster to get to/from your room, making this my favorite resort.

        Disney: Free Water Transportation

        Disney Resort Ferries

From Epcot, the BoardWalk, the Yacht & Beach Clubs,
and the Swan and Dolphin, you can take one of the Friendship
ferries around Crescent Lake to the MGM Hollywood Studios

Our boat, The Friendship with its Captain and First Mate, left the The Coney Island Theme Boardwalk dock after eight, went across the Lake to the Beach & Yacht Club, then to the Dolphin & Swan Hotels, the Palm trees near the landing were all done in brightly colored lights, followed by a stop at MGM Studios before heading back on the reverse route to the Boardwalk Marina.

On the return cruise back to the Boardwalk, we had an unexpected
view of the fireworks show from Epcot with its Gold & Red Finale.

The boats are a great place to watch the fireworks.
Glad you got an unexpected treat.
