We checked into The Houses at Summer Bay Resort
Saturday Afternoon July 15, 2006 - Pool House #305

We were assigned 316 which was hot and had maintenance issues
Changed to 313 which was hot and had maintenance & pool issues

We complained after the air conditioning and temps in both houses
a/c not working all that great 80 degrees plus... before finally getting
a unit with a better air conditoner and temps in the house around 70

Our unit is fair.. Not really clean.. Lots of dust bunnies and caked
on dirt. I have been working on it some but plan to call the office
on Monday. Really disappointed in overall condition of the houses!

We are still having a nice time and have been
enjoying our own private pool overlooking the lake!

Well, that is a heck of a way to start a vacation!

We toured the condos at SB about 2 years ago. They were nice. We could see the houses from our tour route.

They are available for rental by the half hour,
hour, all day and by the week!

The Houses at Summer Bay

Saturday - July 22, 2006

Three (3) Bedroom Pool House # 305

We have had a nice time overall
Our unit could have been cleaner
But..
Having your own private swimming pool overlooking the lake
made up for all the cleaning issues. It was really nice to be
able to just relax and play in the pool morning, noon & night

Plus the fact the houses are huge and all on one floor is a plus
No steps or elevators. Just parked your vehicle and walk in

We took exterior photos of each of the Twenty (20) Houses today
The are Pastel Colors - Yellow - Aqua - Pink - with beautiful trees
and bushes and shrubs all around the house. On Wednesday, they
mowed and weed eated behind the houses and strayed the bushes.
A female Maintenance worker came around with a blower and did the
sidewalks and walkways up to the front door. The grounds are lovely.

Last if you love bread - Be sure to pick up a loaf of White Mountain
Bread at the Publix`s Bakery up on Route 192 - It is simply delicious!

We are staying in one of the houses for 2 weeks beginning February 3. We can't wait! We spent a week there a few years ago and loved it.
