Do you remember the picture of the old white stilt beach resort on Bonita Beach that I posted quite some time ago. It was across from Bonita Resort & Club, and got torn down for one of the gated community's beach clubs sometime in the 90's. They were starting the demolition one January when we were at BR&C, and the Beach Club was there the next year.

What I posted was an old postcard of the place that was being offered on eBay.

Do you remember the name of that resort?

I remember the place, but I can't remember the name. the Beach club is very nice, we go to the free park next to it.

I was trying to describe the changes in Florida to someone on another forum and wanted to show them what the beach resorts used to be like.

Funny, up our way, there is a little, gated, not-as-fancy beach club, and we found out we are eligible for it because of who built our house. The other option is to own at your favorite little place, Sea Oats, because they have year-round day privileges.
