  • Emerald Grande at Harborwalk Village, Destin, FL Questions

We have an exchange to Emerald Grande at Harborwalk Village in Destin with II coming up soon. Any recommendations on rooms, floors, things to do and places to eat?

    Thanks!

I do know that the top floors are penthouses.....what size unit did you receive? I book my cousin here (he rents) when he wants to charter fish. There is an Irish Pub/restaurant he likes....unfortunately that's all I've got....except that he loves it there. The view and the Harborwalk.

I just came back from a conference in San Destin.

Took a client to lunch on the beach at Pompano Joe's and it was very reasonable. Food was a bit better than average and servings were large. Parking can be difficult. View was worth the crowds.

If you want a VERY nice dinner out and feel like driving to Sandestin Beach Resort head over to Baytowne Wharf. Had wonderful shrimp & grits at Bistro Bijoux http://www.bistrobijouxdestin.com/ and I do not like grits. The area looks like a lot of fun though we had no free time to really check it out.

The beaches are very beautiful, the sand white and soft. I now understand the appeal of the area.

      Enjoy your trip
