Our stay at HGVC was over Memorial day week booking thru the HGVC club using our points.
We got unit 201 in the back building which as you can see still has a pretty decent ocean view.
The room is a 2 bedroom 2 bath sleeps 6 with a king bed and two twins and a sofa bed in the
living room. Wrap around balcony with beautiful sunset views.
The resort has recently upgraded the rooms and were a step lower than the typical HGVC style but still very nice and comfortable.
The resort has amenities activities for guests like sailboating, kayak rentals, jet skis, pool tables, tennis courts and of course pool and hot tub.
The resort sponsored a Margarita day including free submarine sandwiches.
There were other days with ice cream social and hot dogs.
There is no charge for the guest activities.
I believe there is some sort of resort fee for non HGVC owners.
If you are an HGVC owner and are exchanging in you still don't pay the fees.
This is a great exchange if you can get it which is pretty rare in RCI or II.
There is a charge for the beach chairs. Around $20 a day.
You can buy beach chairs in the Walgreens or a few of the tourist shops nearby.
Parking is free at the resort and there is plenty of parking.
There was no mention of any sales presentation.
There are units available for sale thru the front desk if you want to buy in but there is no pressure to purchase.
There is a board by the elevators with the units they are featuring with their prices clearly posted.
The resort is right next to the Marriott's Crystal Shores resort and you can walk in and use their restaurants and bars.
There is no restaurant at the HGVC resort.
I'll surely be back.
