    Maybe.

Their story inspired us, but we've been at it 6 years now and had no condo to go back to (like they did). We're starting to be real "stick in the muds" now as we keep returning to the places we like, hopefully for long periods, and they have become "home."

Our most used places are the two we own multiple weeks at:the Townhouses at the St Augustine Beach and Tennis club in St Augustine, Fl and Telemark in Cable WI.

we were 5 weeks at Telemark this fall (beautiful colors) and will be 6 weeks at St Augustine starting Sunday.

Hoping to see everyone again in Orlando

    Joan

Assuming this is a reply to the ray and Darlene comment, they only owned 8 weeks, but timeshared, or something similar to fill the gaps, 26 weeks a year. The last time I saw them was at Summer Bay, and Ray gave me a tour like he was part of the staff.

They and I are from the same original hometown, and place TonyG hung out for awhile.

Officially we only own 17 weeks, but we can stretch them to 52 weeks and actually could do more with bonus weeks and point stretching.

          Homeless?

If you can do more than 52 weeks a year, that oughta be enough.

Yes, we've been homeless for soooo long -- poor us, having to live in beautiful and often waterfront condos!

                Yes, and no.

Takes a "little" longer than some because we carry quite a bit with us. Paperwork, including tax information for us and when we did both our mothers'... those files too; laptops and a printer -- of course -- and things to make things like "home."

                Added things along the years that we needed - a grill: how many times are the burners on a stove crooked and the frying pans are all scratched? a crockpot - have to make Ron's special no carb soup and that's easiest; our own coffee pot: how many times does the coffee pot in a unit not work so well? then we found a map at Goodwill - and began carrying that -- yes, we're crazy .. but how many times is there not enough light in a room? extra flatware shop: how many times are there only 4-6 spoons and don't we need more? and I went crazy buying some extra glass dishes - for desserts, nut dishes, etc;

                and so on

but most importantly. from the beginning: family photos, candles, small favorite knick knacks, flowers and vases (yes, fake...sorry), placemats

We're used to how long it takes to pack up....not so bad when you are thinking of the next nice place we are staying....

We were in a business where we set up and tore down almost every weekend, plus the timesharing stuff. We didn't have a problem with the weekly exit strategy.

We both dread the packing up and driving down here, or back up there, but the payoff is that we get to stay for awhile once were here, or there.

I think I own somewhere like 28 weeks if I points stretch and that doesn't include all the exchange & rental opportunities I'd have with AC's, bonus time and Last Calls.
I think I'm almost ready to take my show on the road too.

Our houseguests headed back yesterday and lost three hours because of bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Looking forward to finally meeting you in person.

And I love the Golden Corral, especially the one on 535. Great choice.

Maybe you can borrow R & J's towels.
