We have friends from up here that like it so much there that they bought a place, and changed their residency.

So, we know folks up here who have places in Marco Island, Estero, Bonita Springs, Ft. Myers, Captiva, Rotonda, Manasota Key, Sarasota, Venice, Englewood . . . Quite a few.

All of SW FL, (almost) sells itself.

Fire alarm, cleared building, finally told we could go back up to ninth floor, started dinner, firemen checking each floor, said it was okay, then alarm comes back on, told to clear building, take stairs, this time waited outside and when we saw fire truck leave, decided it was false alarm, and went in to finish dinner and watch cubs.

This fire alarm thing is happening alot.
It's kids playing with the alarms in the halls.
Happened to us twice at the Marriott in Singer Island.
Now I just go out on the cat walk and see if I see smoke.
I no longer go down the stairs anymore.

If the fire marshall sees you they'll make you come down so I just go back in the unit until they clear the building.
I was with my 80 year old Mom. I am not making her walk down 5 flights of stairs in the dark in her PJs.
I'm more afraid of her falling and breaking a hip. If it's a real fire they can come and get us with the ladder.

        BTW, I love this resort.
It's the reason why I bought my HGVC.
Been several times already and it's easy to get bonus time too.
        Enjoy.

When I was at Bonnet Creek, the same thing happened. I overheard a salesman say it was happening a lot.

Yeah, it's fun to watch everyone pile out of the buildings.
