    Nothing more on the web about the terms? As for facts stated in the ad:

    Greater flexibility with your vacationing
    Use it for things other than timeshare, like cars, planes, trains
    Costs you more money (limited time offer for owners to take advantage)
    Some sort of points system

        I am on hold now. I called the number and I have been waiting: 23:48 minutes.

        We'll see if they pick up the phone in less than 1 hour.

          Finally hung up after 1:11:17 hours on hold. What a poor customer service experience. I'll bet that nobody is there and they forgot to set their system up to indicate when nobody is answering the phones. I've seen this happen to a lot of call centers. The customer service manager is asleep at the switch.

                If I understand right, the OL owner who prompted my posts #72 and, subsequently #76, has seen enough benefit for he and his that he has decided to sign up.

                I believe that's what he said.

                  Were you given any warning that your post #76 was going to close the thread? It seemed to me you were goaded into putting that email on the thread.

                    Obviously I felt it was better to refer to the accusations in the email I received in general terms, rather than posting criticism of specific OL owners, which is how the email was worded. I felt the receipt of the email itself was significant to that thread, in that it revealed that at least one owner was getting to the bottom of things with real people at the resort.

                    That thread is full of guesses and innuendo, with few real facts being contributed by anyone, so several could be guilty of the generalized criticism.

                    Needless to say, I have heard from three of the owners involved and from some of the others, too. One of the owners did not like that I posted the email. I did not like that I posted the email, but what can I say, other than someone who makes a difference did not see it my way.

                    The reason I posted the email was clearly stated in Post #76:

                    Prompted by Mr. Bum's post, which the TUG administrator referred to, that administrator has asked me to, "post the text of the e-mail you received. It should be easy to do so without identifying the sender of the message, even if you have to delete a name or two."

                    I believe I did as I was ordered. I wasn't given an alternative.

                    Even with the sensitive nature of OL and JLB on TUG, I did not consider my original post to be inflammatory. I'm not a dufus. I was surprised it was an issue.
