I was there last year during Wilma. Wind and rain and some of the parks closed. I looked at it as a good opportunity to get some tickets for the 7 of us - it was, the sharks surprisingly do not want to get wet.

Just curious, I'm heading to Orlando to stay at the HGVC Tuscany (I-drive) this weekend (Friday - just in time for Ernesto to make the trip interesting). Is there anybody else that will be in Orlando next week? If so, you can stop by and say 'Hi'.

Well, I'm driving down Thursday but if you're in Orlando, stop by and say hello. I don't figure to go to any of the parks before Saturday and from I read last year, I think the parks opened up quickly after the storms. My goal for this trip is less to go to the parks (that is the goal of my December trips where trips to the parks are the major factor - it is also where the last couple years I stay at DVC resorts for a week during my two week December vacation) than it is just to be away from home and relax. Still, I have season tickets so I will spend a little time at the parks.
