Contrary to the much-discussed policy of placing all RCI exchangers in the West Village, we were placed in the East Village, just two buildings away from one I would have requested, which I did not. So we were just 2 1/2 buildings away from a poolplex (our favorite poolplex and one that is virtually a private pool) and a hot tub we know well, one we can view Disney fireworks from.
I pedoed our first four trips and the average distance was 1026 feet, not quite a quarter mile. Considering the resort, that is a fairly short distance to a hot tub.
At our resort the following week the distance was one flight of stairs and then maybe 75 feet around the building to the pool area, the hot tub there being right beneath our first floor lanai.
Anyone who wants the Ol Pedo can have it by emailing me their address. We can't think of any sane reason to return to Orlando and we don't have any plans to waste a week of vacation by doing so.
