Cheap Airfares, Springfield, MO to Tampa

I had an email from Allegiant Air this morning, $19 airfare to Tampa!

When I opened it the legs going down are $39 and coming back $69, during January.

That's better than the $229 both ways the next two weeks.

Lansing and Toledo have good fares during this time to Orlando as well---2nd week Jan through 1st-2nd week Feb. It looks to be system-wide.

Yeah I did. A rental car for our timeframe was starting at $1200 and going as high as $4000!

A google search led to flyertalk and discount codes and coupons. We have a full size confirmed for $578. We will know for sure in 12 hours.

We wound up with $69 plane fares down and back, but our friends got $99 fares coming back, and they submitted theirs exactly when we did.

We are also arriving three days early and leaving one day late, so we have some Hotwire and Priceline hotel rooms. Considering how high the season is there, they were not that bad, $34 for a 2 star and $45 for a 3 star.

We had no problem with the rental car. In fact I upgraded to a Rendevous, and we will need it, for an extra $10 a day.
