This message applies to both Cypress Pointe Resort at Lake Buena Vista AND to Cypress Pointe GrandeVillas.

REMINDER TO ALL ARRIVING/DEPARTING OWNERS, GUESTS, AND EXCHANGERS:

On Wednesday, January 3, 2007 (tomorrow) the Clubhouse Lobby/Check In area will be closed until 2/1/07 for renovation and a fresh new look for 2007. Check in and out will be done in the Clubhouse Game Room area. Resort Personnel will be available to direct you to the temporary front desk location. Thank you for your co-operation during this update.

We'll make photos of the progress available as it happens!

Notification

The Resort management notifies RCI, II, the various Sunterra and VI clubs in advance as soon as it schedules maintenance that could possibly affect exchanger satisfaction. John Chase and I utilize TUG and TS4MS BBS to notify other potential guests and direct exchangers. John also makes announcements on the home website and the quarterly newsletter that gets mailed to owners and posted to the Resort home website. Notices are also included within their check-in package, although in this case, it is the actual check-in that is being temporarily changed. But we can never guarantee that every owner or exchanger will get the word. We just do what we reasonably can to get the word out.

Cypress Pointe Resorts construction update photos

Here is the link to the most recent photos showing the progress the residential buildings re-roofing project and the construction of the Maintenance/Laundry/Storage facility, and the beginning of the demolition of the old laundry facility. Also shown is the relocation of the 2 resorts' front desk/check-in/checkout to the Game Room while the new lobby undergoes total renovation.
