Literally.
OL, and for that matter most of Florida, has always had an odor. It comes from the reclaimed water that is used for irrigation everywhere.
But when we came out of our unit on Thursday night to go to the pool and hot tub, the stink was horrible. We had to hold our towels over our face, and everyone who was outside was doing the same thing, covering their faces. Everyone we passed was talking about it.
On the way back I saw an OL Engineering vehicle with a guy in it so I asked him what the stink was. He said it is Animal Kingdom and the Reedy Creek (Disney) waste water treatment plant, which is located on Disney property just east of the OL East Village. He said it is a problem they have always had, and when the wind is from the East, well . . .
