Orlando and Memorial Weekend

It's been almost 10 years since we have been to Orlando for more than for a few hours, use to live there - but so much has changed.

We will be staying in Kissimmee starting Saturday, May 26th and leaving the day after Memorial Day on Tuesday May 29th.

Do you think the parks will be Really Busy?

If you were going to go to, say, Universal, what day do you think would be best?

They will be fairly busy, but not as busy as summer or other non-school times.

I agree with Tony I do not think it will be as bad as other Holiday weeks. Do Islands of Adventure in Universal. They thought out the lay out of that park well. You don't realize it at first but it is well organized. The rides are easy to get to since the lay out is like a circle. Going around the park you really can't miss anything there.

The best day's to visit are Tuesday and Wednesday less crowds as reported
by AAA.

Between Universal and Island of Adventures which do you recommend for mid fifties who are not into the fast rides.

Joe I am 45 and love Islands of Adventure. If you buy a hopper ticket with the fast pass you can see both parks. The rides IMO are better in IOA because they are newer. Jurassic Park is cool and there is a Popeye ride that we can't get enough of. There is nothing wrong with the old park. I was disappointed the last time I was there because it is half of what it used to be. I guess they needed to make room for the new park and did not have the property so they took it from the old.
