  • Orlando resort shuttles to Universal theme parks?

We expect to be in the Orlando area twice in the next year. We'll be visiting the Universal theme parks. With 3 adults and 2 older teenagers, all in just one car, having a shuttle option would be really great for added flexibility.

Which, if any, of the resorts offer shuttles to Universal Orlando parks? What is the schedule? What is the fee?

    Thanks for your help!

Most offer shuttle services to the parks, but for a small fee. The Hilton Grand Vacation Club resorts offer free shuttle services to Universal and Seaworld.

I think that the Westgate resort that is closest to the Universal site offered a shuttle. It was kinda expensive, as I recall. I assume you're kind of looking to supplement a car, ie, you want to come home and the kids want to stay?

If you like, I can look up where we stayed, which Westgate resort and post it.

Yes. We'll have passes so they may want to visit more often than we do.

I think the closest Westgate to Universal is Lakes? Do you recall the schedule and fees?

Wombat, that's exactly what I was hoping to see. Do you know the schedule for the free shuttles between the HGVCs and Universal?

Also, I understand that the Lynx buses ($1.50 each way) have a stop at Universal's parking garage. Are there any timeshare resorts with a Lynx (public bus) stop???

            Hi Lisa,

My last stay at HGVC was a couple of years ago. If I'm not mistaken, there was a shuttle that runs to Universal & Seaworld about 3 times going there in the morning, and around 3 times back in the evening and night.

The I-Drive trolley (very cheap) also goes to Seaworld, but not Universal. There was a Lynx stop at Seaworld where many people use to go to Disney (haven't used that though), as well as one at the Premium Outlet Mall just opposite HGVC International Drive (the newer one).
