Has anyone stayed here recently, or otherwise have any informed opinions about either the facility itself or the immediately surrounding area?
Any and all input or feedback welcomed and appreciated.

No one has stayed there recently. The resort has been closed due to hurricane damage for the past 2 years.

There is word on the FF website that says the resort may open in 2008.

Thanks, Bill. I had wondered why the facility, although having a RCI resort number designation, does not appear in the current RCI directory.

In one of the VERY few things that RCI does that makes any sense at all, RCI apparently does not allow "currently closed" facilities to appear in their directory if the resort is closed when that directory is prepared for publication.

Maybe I'm a cynic, but I wonder if RCI might still take your exchange fee and exchange you into a "closed" facility. ;-)
