Hi Dale, I did a search for Cocoa Beach because we'll be there Easter Week

Can you either post or PM me, please? Me and husband and two 15-year-old sons will be at the Resort on Cocoa Beach for Easter Week. We want options other than Space Center and theme parks. Mostly going for relaxation, beach and sunshine. We're booked for that Monday morning after Easter for a kayaking eco tour w/Fin Expeditions (one-on-one w/Tim--exceptional reviews on Trip Advisor). We love outdoorsy kinds of things. We'll probably explore Merritt. We'd love to find someone who does sailing tours (small groups of 4-6), but no luck on finding anything so far. We ascribe to your 4Ss philosophy!

We plan to do most eating in the condo, but are looking for somewhere with good fresh seafood (prepared other than fried) for Easter day and maybe during the week that would be enjoyable and not upscale. Any suggestions would be great!!! Thanks!!!!

Anyone else want to chime in, feel free!

we went on the Island boat Lines 2 hour eco trip and it was great. the guides are excellent. 321 302-0544 on Banana River drive.
They also offered a sunset dinner boat ride.
Merritt Island national Refuge is great and we also went to a small park called Enchanted Forest that was free and was very interesting,it was a nature site.
I wrote a review on Tug for Resort on cocoa Beach and for Las Olas at cocoa Beach, in them I gave directions for Enchanted Forest and in Las Olas I gave directions to a spot to see lots of manatees.

The normal stuff has been pretty much covered.

            Ron Jon.

            Any launches planned?

Cruises? We watched a shuttle launch from an excursion ship . . . and some from land.

Day trip to St. Augustine, the oldest US city.

St. Johns River stuff . . . airboat rides.

World Golf Museum, or whatever it's called.

            Golf.

I have in-law/in-law fam on Merritt Island, including the Director of Security at the Space Center.

Next shuttle launch is scheduled for Thursday February 19th (changed from original 2/12 date).
Haven't heard of anything after that yet.

We're going to be at HGVC-sea world over Easter. Since we're DVC owners we've done the parks so many times. So my 16 y.o. daughter wants to hit the beach. So we're going to try Cocoa Beach. That yellow dog cafe is a definate for us. thanks for posting the link. Will the beach here be absolutely crazy with college kids or do you think their spring break will be over by Easter. BTW, we'll probably be there the week following Easter Sunday.

If we do go, I'll report back. I've checked the 2 of the menus so far and neither is up our alley.

The problem is that while we'll have computer access while there, we won't have a printer. So I don't know how I'd be able to print off the certificates if I don't make a decision on restaurants before I go...
