We had to use some cancelled airline tickets and consolidate those with a timeshare (had to book those this week and use them before March). <g> TALK ABOUT PRESSURE! Our two choices were Florida and Hawaii. Hawaii was our second choice as the flight schedule was horrid (3 stops each way--argh!) and we are very blessed to have a timeshare on the north shore of Kauai and go each year for 3 weeks. (I know, spoiled rotten! <g>). Since we are sincere weather wimps (come from Arizona) we wanted someplace warm, thus Hawaii and Florida. RCI did a great job of working with us and we now have air and a confirmation into the Club Intrawest-Sandestin. Is anyone familiar with that timeshare? Also, we'd love to have you share:
**places to eat without emptying our pockets
**day trips (historic, scenic)
**great beaches (my priority)
**great golf courses (hubby's priority)
**fun ocean excursions
**other attractions we may not think of
I will be reading the past posting (thanks, you guys!) as soon as I can. Can't wait to see what you can share with two desert rats! :O)
