Shuttle America, LGA to Sarasota $178
Anyone heard of this airline? Fare sounds too good to be true for a holiday week, but I am so tempted!

The good news is I'd be ticketed through Delta, so likelihood of complete stranding is lower. And I would still have $200 pp left over on my vouchers. These I may need to buy...Comment

Booked and ticketed. Fares for my dates (4/19-4/26) are over $700 on Delta anywhere else within 200 miles.
I am dreaming of Hyatt Coconut Plantation, Seawatch-on-the-Beach, or something comparable...
this is first time I've bought air without a booked exchange. And it's a holiday week. I must really be losing it.

Guess what? Got a call from Delta (I got ticketed through Delta for the Shuttle America flight -- good thing!), the non-stop Shuttle America route has been discontinued. So since they needed to put us on a flight through Atlanta, I got them to fly us into Ft Myers instead of Sarasota...
So now if the exchange we want comes through, we won't have nearly as far to drive, and we're under 30 miles from Naples if we keep our Edgewater reservation
