Houses at Summer Bay Resort

I have a house reserved at Summer Bay Resort in the Fall. The houses look beautiful but after reading some reviews on other websites I've become concerned about the possibility of bugs (specifically roaches). Could someone that has been there recently report if there has been any problems in this regard and what condition the houses are in. I am debating changing my reservation to the 3-bedroom condo which I've been told are almost brand new and very nice. Are the 3 bedroom condos as nice as the houses?
I realize the benefit and advantages the houses have with the private pool but its not worth it to me at the expense of dealing with bugs.
Opinions and experiences are much appreciated.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Houses. The only issue we had with bugs was some very tiny ants in the bathroom. I think we may have seen a roach on our last day there, and that was also in the bathroom. I would buy a can of roach spray just in case and spray when you check in.

The Houses are great and built in such a way that you have total privacy from your neighbors. They were very responsive to small maintenance issues that we had, and called a couple of times to make sure everything was okay with our House.

I would love to stay there again.

Houses

We loved our stay at the Houses last year. Did not see any bugs. I sure would not stay away from them because of bugs. They were probably our favorite timeshare of any we have stayed in.

Stayed in the houses summer '06 and would love to go back in the future. Having your own private pool is great, especially with little ones. We didn't have any problems with bugs.

We just spent 2 glorious weeks in one of the houses. It was wonderful! We didn't see any bugs at all. You will love it.

One of my big kids (18) just told me two days ago that "the place with the inside pool" was the best vacation we ever took. Don't let a few bugs keep you away!

We found the house extremely clean and don't recall any bugs.

It was great (and I'm a total fusspot !).
Go, enjoy and ignore what you've heard except on this thread !
Clean, nicely furnished, convenient.
