Yea, There was alady by the pool who swore she's been an owner for 20 yrs feed a few of them
Buff, we stayed there a few years ago. Are the raccoons still hanging around the barbecue looking for handouts?
Dori, I got very lucky an old Tugger friend hooked me up with a recently refurbished two bedroom . She has buying units across the street at the Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort and renting them.
Please send my regards to the members of your timeshare group in Canada. Bob G called me and told me his soon will beworking on a cruiseship near me

Bob is a great guy! If you are ever up in this neck of the woods, come on over to one of our meetings. TOTuggers are a wonderful bunch!
We will be down in Florida for the month of February again next year, but haven't seen any Coconut Bay units available for the week we need (Feb. 21-27) We have the previous 3 weeks all booked.

Before we moved to Florida a few years ago, we owned a unit at Coconut Bay. Though it surely isn't a grand new luxury resort, we really liked the friendliness of the folks, and enjoyed seeing the same families there every February. The pool was never crowded, the ocean is nearby, the units are spacious...Not a fancy resort, but always a nice vacation for us away from the cold of Maine.

We like to walk along the beach every morning before it gets to hot. For those who are not familar with Ft lauderdale timesharing. Coconut Bay is the first timeshare after you come over the bridge and make aquick right by a7 eleven. Maintenance fees I believe have crept up 6 to 700 and they are converting many owners to the points system. Some of the units have been refurbished. Trading is tougher weeks 1 - 14 do asearch over a year from date Dual affiliated RCI II
Across the street is the Ft Lauderdale Beach Club a VRI resort. High Maintance fee typical of VRI and many refurbishments havebeen made over the recent years. Most of you know that VRI properties have all been improved Dual Affiliated . Easier Most deposits with II
You walk along the strip and you will see two more properties directly across from the. Both RCI MeriwetherResort and Silver Seas. Both older not 5star but location is key
Futher up is the Marriott and the marriott is the best of the bunch.
Restaurants vary. You have to do your homework. Many are overpriced and undervalued. The Entertainment book or restaurant.com probably will help along with sky auction which has 100 certs for around 50 for local places.
Happy Hour is you best bet. We found agreat Mexican place across from Coconut where delicious appetizers were half price. Had mexican pizza and schicken quesadillas .
Get coupons for other activities to save you money.
Dori. Give me locations for your week. We spent a day at Hollywood Beach and enjoyed ourselves. Thats where I first met Ken K years ago.
Honestly I've been out of the loop not being involved in thetimesharing industry inawhile so many ofmy contacts are dry. Hopefully the moderators won't chase me off here

Right now we are at Worldmark Indio, near Palm Springs. Having a great time.
Our first week in February is booked for Calini in Sarasota, the second is at Lahaina at Ft. Myers (yay!) and our third is at vistana's Jensen Beach. That last week is giving me trouble, as I have used all my good traders!
I need a 2-bedroom for the 4th week, as our kids might join us. I'm even looking in Orlando, but all that is showing up in a 2-bedroom is High Point and Oak Plantation.
Thanks! dori
