  • OLCC River Island or HGVC Sea World - HELP!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which would you choose and why?

    OLCC River Island, 2 bedroom

    HGVC Sea World, 3 bedroom

We are DH, DS (15), me, baby, and probably company with us (not sure who we will be bringing).

Both look AMAZING! We are all golfers as well. We will be skipping Disney this trip, hitting Universal, Acquatica, and Disney water parks, downtown Disney and Boardwalk area.

I am REALLY tossed about this! The 3 bedroom would give us more room obviously, but the water area at River Island looks awesome!

3BR vs 2. Great location vs out at the end of 192. RI does have the water park but would that really make the difference? The water park is NOT the level of Disney/Wet N' Wild so if you plan to do those anyway why mess with OLCC? The HGVC units are much nicer.

No question for me - HGVC.

Is HGVC still close to disney area and universal? I know little about the area down there. We have stayed on site at Disney once, at Summer Bay Resort once, and at the Rosen Center. Thanks!

Very close to Universal/Seaworld - about 5 miles (not far) from Disney gates.

          Thanks for your help.

Now, which might be better for a teen and a friend? DS will be almost 16 then. Im thinking thats it would be HGVC, because they could walk to Seaworld and get the bus to Acquatica from there.

Plenty in the area to walk to from HGVC. Nothing to walk to at OLCC except maybe the closest pool. There are more pools & the waterpark as well as golf at OLCC but overall the whole experience and the ease of access to "things to do" without needing a car at HGVC makes that an easy choice over OLCC for me. (But I'm NOT a golfer!)
