  • Discount Disney Tickets

I deleted my latest Mousesavers Newsletter. Does anyone have the link for discounted WDW tickets? Is Undercovertourist.com the best place to go?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Holly, told you I was obsessed with Disney in addition to t/s. If you pm me your email, I will forward November's News letter to you. I always use undercovertourist for my tickets...cheap tickets and never a problem.

Anything fishy about the last two posts?

We are not mouse people any more although that is what started us on TSing, but when we were it seems there were never any significant Disney deals. Even TS tours couldn't get Disney deals for premiums. They were very proud of what they had and reluctant to be generous.

In case we have occasion to go to/take youngins to Disney, as might be more likely now that we are semi-Floridians, like on a very boring day , are there really good deals now?

(thought maybe the recession might have loosened their purse strings a bit)

            With cement swim fins?

Speaking of which, we were watching something the other night and it was Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa.

He certainly made a nice recovery.

If you buy a 3 day hopper or more AAA is the way to go, Also if you need Universal tkts they are the cheapest and ALL of the shops and restaurants both inside Universal and in City walk take that discount including Emirle's which saved us $40 since we were 7 people

The fishy posts are no longer there, thus swimming with the fishes.

If I feel a need to go to Disney for three days, just shoot me.

I just did 3 days in a row and then 2 days at Universal with no break in between. Yes it was hell if not worse.

I was going to argue that SeaWorld, with the second day free, is the most bang for your buck, but on second reading I think you meant that AAA was the cheapest, not Universal. We've not done Universal, but if the Google map is any indication, they're worse than Disney about the big open areas with lots of sun thing, so SeaWorld remains the most livable IMHO. SeaWorld also has the best All Day Meal Deal -- Universal's has funky rules about drinks so you can't zip through for bottled water the way you can at SeaWorld. And Disney's Dining Plan is a nightmare, I think, plus you have to stay onsite to have access to it.

Since my kid are All About the food, they're also All About SeaWorld. Teenagers.

I wouldn't mind three days in a week. Or four in a week and a half, so you can hit all four parks. Maybe five in two weeks, so you can hit Epcot twice. If you can work in a down day after every park day, and take a break during peak hours, it's not so bad. But I'm not a rides person so not racing from place to place. Hit a ride or two, catch a few of the little live shows like Captain Jack's pirate tutorial, watch one of the artisans working for a while, wander the gardens, wander the shops and marvel over the Disney prices (I do admittedly pay for a pin now and again) -- that's my version of visiting the parks.

We're planning six days in the parks over ten days in Orlando; that I am not really looking forward to. But it'll be my older two's first and probably only visit there with us, so a one-time thing. And we go off season so the crowds aren't too bad, although more people than I prefer. Disney's gotten really good at filling the parks year round, drat them.

My best day at Universal was the day I went in the back gate and got our group refunds for the day before.
