There has been considerable discussion as to whether OLCC owners have the same access to exchange into OLCC as outsiders.

Through RCI that is easy to ascertain on RCI's new search engine. Any owners care to compare . . . into the four Villages?

I have only one unit - fall 2010 - deposited with RCI at the time and it is not OLCC. With that unit I can see Orange Lake - East, North & West Village and River Island.

I saw this thread awhile back but don't feel that I can give a fair comparison as my searches have been very few and sporatic but I do see some differences.

All my trades are through GlobalAccess (aka Holiday Inn Vacation Club) into OLCC. I have no problem pulling any section including the high demand period. But then again, I make my reservations well in advance and I have a 2 month window before RCI can make reservations on the Points side.

My RCI account is through points so I see OLCC through points but it is much more limited. There are times I don't see anything for OLCC but I can make the reservation through GA. I don't know what's on the weeks side. I also don't know what would happen if I put in a request to be notified if a unit opens up.

I'll be at OLCC during President's week so I'll see if Internet access is free as some as now saying.

can points in holiday Inn vacation club be used to trade to other locations? If I have 6600 points in the club, can it get one wk at other location? If so, what other locations are available? is it cost involved to use it at other location other than Lake Geneva at wisconsin? Do you know where I can find a point chart for this club?

look at rci point requirements in the resort directory area of rci.....then double the number of points to get what it would cost a Holiday Inn Vacation Club member would need to get into the particular Orange Lake resort

6600 points does not seem to be a LOT for someone in Holiday Inn Vacation Club aka Global Access

You may wish to look at Holiday Inn Club - Resources and look at the members guide. Although it doesn't have points in one location, it does have the points requirements for each resort under each resort. Hopefully this helps. 6600 points won't do much unfortunately.

Class Action Against OLCC

If you still own a TimeShare at Orange Lake and would like to get out of your contract because of fraud, and like to take action against them then please join our class action lawsuit against them today.

Good luck. Having been around a while I can tell you that unless you can prove something in writing to sue about, your chances are very slim and none of even finding a lawyer to take your case(without a retainer). I have already deleted an Orange Lake suit ad in the Mexico forum and will do the same for any other posts that are made in inappropriate topics. Don't get me wrong- I have no love for Orange Lake (and particularly so for one former owner there) and I wish you all the success in the world. Why can't somebody go after Westgate- they are even worse.

As I have come to learn just the last couple of days, it was the decision of the Court in the other classaction suit to not consider the fraud aspect, to leave that to the state and fedceral governments.

As some here know, there are others being prepared at this time, and significant interest in them elsewhere.
