  • Fisherman's Village/Punta Gorda

Having heard of it for most of 20 years, I/we stopped by and checked FV out today.

Cute, quirky . . . the others said they'd do a week there.

But, that was before I/they got here to Lighthouse on Sanibel.

Fisherman's Village is a great place to visit, we are going-up there next weekend again to visit friends from Bradenton who have never been there. Harpoon Harry's is great place to have some dinner right on the Bay!

As I told you on the golf course yesterday, but for everyone, that is what some have not like in the past, that it is a fun night spot and a biker destination.

There is a sign at HH saying to keep the Harleys at a quiet idle speed. The couple with us are Harley owners, as are the couple with us last week and one of the couples from home with a winter place in Rotonda.

If anyone wants the resale list from FV, they gave me one, every week, with owners' names, addresses and phone numbers. More than ten for just Week 1.

We stayed there for a visit with Peter's mom who lived in an assisted living facility in Port Charlotte. It totally fit the bill for us, but we weren't looking to beach it.
