The Florida Timeshare Owners Group -

The Group meets three times per year, in March, July, and November. Timeshare owners interested in attending the July meeting will need to make advance reservations, by contacting Frank Debar, Group Coordinator, at (941) 351-1384, or fdebar@webtv.net

I don't believe that dates or a specific site have been determined yet.

I just attended the Fl Timeshare Owners Group meeting yesterday.. It was basically the same cast of characters are previous meetings. I spoke briefly about timeshare scams, Brian Rogers talked about TUG, Shep Altshuler spoke about Timesharing Today, Lisa Ann Schreier spoke briefly as well about the importance of owners being involved with their resort management teams and homeowners associations. I did see the president of the Villages timeshare club there, but no other notables that I noticed.

It was a long meeting.. Four hours... So many of the attendees kept nodding off. It was very fitting I guess considering the state of the timeshare industry, where unfortunately I'm afraid many people are asleep at the wheel..

Shep talked briefly about promoting Timeshare Relief in his magazine, and while the message seemed a bit confusing (perhaps I was just nodding off myself at this point) it appeared that he was attempting to apologize for promoting them which I thought was a class move. He also recommended the members call their resort managers and ask what the maintenance fee default levels are, and if they are above ten percent that it is a strong sign the resort is in trouble..

I was once told it's nice nice to post email addresses.

      Can't quite remember the circumstance.

Sounds like a typical do-nothing timeshare gathering.
