Has anyone vacationed here lately? I have a 3 bedroom on hold. Also where can I find the location of the different buildings. The VC said the unit was for L3. Will they honor unit/building changes? Thanks for any informtion you are able to provide.

"L3" just simply means a 3BR. Units are generally assigned at check-in, but you can call the front desk about a week before and make any special requests. There are two pool areas -- the main pools by the club house and a smaller pool by some further-away buildings. Even so, it would be a 10-15 min walk from the furthest building to the main pool. I personally like staying close to the main pool.

This property is showing its age a bit, but the units are big and clean. They have a deli / convenience store, restaurant and a very nice club house (w/ theater room). There are a ton of activities, mostly geared for kids (but not all), and the staff has always been great when we have been there. The location is great for Universal or Disney -- 15 min. drive to either.

You will have a great time there!

We stayed there 2 years or so ago and really liked it. I was glad to be in a building closer to the main building as I agree the ones way out would be a pain to walk to the main pool. We loved our 3BR, perfect for traveling with my MIL! DH really loved the resort and the quiet there. The location is nice and central.

I am at the resort this week..in a 3 bedroom in the Pembrooke building. Everything is very clean..units a bit dated, but nice.

We were there about 4-5 years ago and we thought it was nice then. I also have Cypress Pointe Grande Villas on hold. Three bedrooms as well. Now the hard part of deciding with unit to confirm. Any suggestions?

I would consider Cypress Pointe if I would be spending lots of time in the Disney parks and I like the area it is in. However, I have read over and over how the one bedroom is crazy small...
