  • Recommondations for Orlando Restaurant

    Hello All:
I am planning a Disney vacation for 23 people in December. Having a VERY hard time getting reservations for this crowd at some of the desired places - even at the 90 day mark.

So, I am on to plan 2. Dinner for all at a "regular" restaurant (meaning no characters for the kids). Any recommondations for a restaurant in the area that will be both fun for kids and adults?

This will most likely be our only meal we all eat as a group - so I would like it to be somewhat memorable.

    Thanks!

    Two thoughts.

One: when you are talking to Group Reservations, be sure to volunteer that you're willing to take multiple tables. They may be doing that already, but if they are not, they should be. At the restaurant, they'll still push tables together, etc., even though DRC will tell you you might be separated.

Two: for a group of that size, I'd really lean to a buffet or family-style restaurant. Just having everyone at the table trying to order and getting the kitchen to coordinate all of those meals will keep you there forever. 'Ohana might be tough, but Boma should still have availability, and so might Cape May.

How about one of the show dinner theaters. Not my favorite, but might work for a group this size. We went to the Arabian Knights one a few years ago.
