I went to the site. The first step was to fill out a registration form, which I did. It then directed me to PayPal for a $79.99 payment, which I did not do.

I did not see any way on the registration page to avoid the 79.99 payment (they had a "coupon code" box, but the OP didn't mention any code to put in). The registration page says:

Step 1 - Register Account
Step 2 - Setup Listing
Step 3 - Select FREE options & Click Go Live

But I didn't see any way to avoid the 79.99 charge as part of step 1. I guess "100% free" means different things to different people...

I should add, it looks like a nice site, and if it really is $79.99/year for an unlimited number of ads, I might be interested. However, the "it's 100% free...after you pay us $79.99" conflict leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I haven't done any further investigation.

To really bury this thing, their signin page is insecure, and they mail the password back to the registered e-mail account in the clear (that is, unencrypted).

I guess their argument might be that they don't need security because they handle payment through PayPal, but I don't like this casual attitude on a site dedicated to commerce.

This site is completely 100% FREE. We do not charge $79.99. Look at the SITE. It is 100% FREE. Steve Chapin really should have investigated further before posting his comments. Steve, perhaps you would like to post an apology and retraction? And by all means setup your listing. All you have to do is click on the red font on the home page that says FREE listing.

You can post one resort for free

with as many weeks as you have available. The site appears to be similar to VRBO, as it is more for whole owned units instead of timeshare weeks.
We will see how it works as I posted one of our resorts that we have a few weeks for next year.
When I tried to post a second resort, I was transferred to the PayPal page.

Mat you need to respond to this to clarify as it does seem that your site is not 100% free. 1 free ad does not mean 100% free. If this is correct then the prior posters are correct and the moderator did take the right action at that time,

One ad is free. If you need more than one ad - send us an email and we will give you as many free listings as you like. FREE is FREE. We are not playing games. When we say free it is free.

We setup one initial free listing and then requests for additional as a security block. As I stated above, if you need more than one free listing - send us and email and we will be happy to provide you with additional free credits directly linked to your username email in our system.
