No problem. I'll try to remember to pass them on when she sends them to me. In fact, here is one more specially for your favorite 4 year old NASAphile.

Buzz Lightyear returns from his stay on the International Space Station.

        And, just one more.
STS-121 Final Inspection Team - I [not me, friend's dd] am one those guys in the orange suits....the bottom of the shuttle booster is in the background!

STS-128 Launch - Cool night shot!

STS-114 going vertical in the VAB for stacking.

A neat shot of some cool weather on roll-out. (I believe this was a launch that was scrubbed and launched later)
            Great Pics

When I was in School I like every other kids wanted to work for NASA. I used to ask them to send me pictures and sure enough they always mailed me some beautiful 8 by 10 pictures of the moon or planets or there rockets. Note sure if they still do this but after almost 40 years I still remember it. I think I must still have them somewhere in my attic.

My best friend's dd (the one who works at KSC) said, when she was 7, she wanted to be an astronaut and a doctor. Well, she now works at KSC, for NASA. She has worked on the launch site, and now sits on the Safety Council (either the youngest woman ever, or one of the youngest). She said that with what she now knows she wouldn't want to go up in a shuttle, but she loves what she does. Oh, by the way she is also a certified paramedic. So, she got darn close to the astronaut and doctor thing. Can you tell I'm proud of her? I think of her as my "first daughter".

And I found out my friend may be giving the final okay from the Safety Council. If anyone is listening to the broadcast (I think you can get to it on the NASA site) and hears a female voice, that's her.

WooHoo! I'm listening (and watching) the live launch right now. She did do the sign off for the Safety Council. Launch is only a few minutes away now.
