Any input on the various airlines that fly between the various Hawaii Island?

Island Air

Mokulele Airlines

go! (Mesa Airlines)

Hawaiian Airlines

I believe that Go and Mokulele have combined and that is currently in bankruptcy protection.
We flew Mokulele over the Christmas period and other than disorganization on the ground in Honolulu, they seemed fine. The arrivals and departures board had absolutely no relationship to the actual status of the flights, so everyone was freaking as their flight showed as being in final boarding call and in actuality hadn't even arrived at the gate. The crew for our flight went missing for about half an hour ..... However, once in the air the attendant was very professional, and the return from Kauai went like clockwork.

We have always used Hawaiian Air, and their website is updated often so keeping an eye on airfares is easy. Join their FF club and get emails of special offers. The Hawaiian Air team is really quite good...and interisland terminals are well organized, with seat assignments and other things now from what I hear.
