We will be staying on three islands, Kauai, Oahu and Maui for the last 3 weeks of February. We have never been and would appreciate any information that would help us enjoy the trip. My wife has mobility problems so rugged outdoor excursions are out.

Restaurants
On Kauai, if you are in the Poipu area, Brenneke's and the Beach House are good. In Kapaa, Hukilau Lanai at the Kauai Coast is good.
On Maui, in Kihei, Sansei is great for sushi, get there early for the early bird discount. On the west side, Gerards and the Plantation House are very good.
On Oahu, the Ocean House restaurant in the Outrigger Reef was great.
We did the Polynesian Cultural Center escorted tour on Oahu. It's a full day but it was very interesting.
The Pacific Whale foundation whale watch on Maui was excellent last year in February.
On Kauai, we did the NaPali coast sunset tour. We drove up to the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, Waimea Canyon, and in the opposite direction, Hanalei Bay and Kilauea Lighthouse in the middle.

On Oahu, I would recommend the following:
1) Maile's Thai Bistro in Hawaii Kai. The BEST Thai food in America.

4) Bogarts on Monsarat near Kapiolani Park. My favorite breakfast joint.
5) Royal Garden in the ala moana hotel. Best Dim Sum. As good as Hong Kong.
6) Yard House. Best beers on tap. Great food, too. Right on Lewers.
7) Fatties. Great and cheap hole in the wall Chinese in Waikiki. Right next to the international marketplace.

17) Alan Wong's. Fancy nouveau Chinese. Not my favorite, but very popular.
18) Duke's. Food isn't fabulous, but the view and atmosphere is great. One of the only all you can eat salad bars in Hawaii.
19) Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. I like to park here. You get 4 hours free valet parking with any purchase. Good place to get a drink and appetizer.
20) Eggs n things in Waikiki. Great pancakes.
21) Puka Dog. Great specialty hot dogs. Right in international market.
22) Pearl's. Good fast food Korean Food.
23) Bale. Great Vietnamese noodle shop with sandwiches. Best short ribs on Oahu (Hawaii Kai). Really great egg rolls.
24) Honolulu Convention Center concession. Surprisingly good Beef Curry.
25) Jack's in Aina Haina. Great local breakfast. homemade biscuits and pancakes.
26) Big City Diner in Kaimuki. Great overall local food diner. We go there for steak and eggs for breakfast.
