A Question about requesting a week in Hawaii

I have requested a week in Oahu, (Waikiki area) through interval international in mid February. And we are planning to depart July 2 - July 9th, but it seems extremely hard to get a trade during that time of the month so we said anytime in June/July area. Only problem is, we need to know what days we are leaving so we can notify the people that are going to this trip the exact dates and we can get the flight tickets before the price increases. how long does it normally take for the availability for hawaii during those months? anyone know?

If you can get Hawaii for this summer, I would be surprised. The last two times that I was able to get weeks in Hawaii, I had to book 15-18 months ahead.

If you have something you can deposit, and a 1BR will work for you, I would check with Hawaii Timeshare Exchange (htse.net). They show availability on Oahu in July.

Getting back to Hawaii.

Can someone explain how this site works. I own two 154k point timeshares (odd and even) one at Wyndham Royal Sea Cliff and the other in Vegas. . I brought the timeshare resale on Ebay after backing out of a purchase from Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach beach. Thank god I found this site and backed out before it was to late.

I have gone to Mexcio twice and Vegas twice over the past 3 years. However, I would like to get back to Hawaii but, do not know how to maximize my ability to go.

I have time for a trip in June - Aug & Jan (first two weeks) each year. Now I get 154k from 1 timeshare in even and 154k from the other in odd years.

Can you guys help guide me in the right direction. I would love to get a 2 bedroom if possible but, would be happy with a 1 bedroom. I am thinking of going in 2012 so I do have alot of time.

Should I focus on trading through RCI, Htse.net (not sure how this one works) or do I need to get more points for Hawaii. Any advice would be appreciated.
