  • Map of The Point at Poipu

We will be staying at the Point at Poipu in August. I was wondering if anybody had a map of the resort with the various building numbers so I can get a lay of the land. Also wondering if these buildings have elevators. Thanks!

The building do have elevators but it can be tricky getting to some of the buildings so if you need to let them know if you need a handicap room I got one for my parents and it was near the parking lot and I do not have a map of the resort.

Thanks for the info! I'm glad to know that there are elevators. I've seen some posts in various forums and they mention building numbers so I wanted to see which buildings they were talking about

There's a map of the resort in the resort reviews.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

        “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Do they still assign units at check-in?

Then someone takes you there, and your luggage?

If the link works, here it is, without the building numbers.

OOOH! Look! There's a whale in the bay.

I forgot which site I was at. It's in the TUG resort review. Let me check around my computer and see if I have another one laying around.

                +++++++

                Found it:

My standard Embassy at Poipu story.

The day we were to check-in on our RCI exchange, we toured with my BIL and his wife. We got Georgio, one of the biggest lying TS sales weasels we have ever met. After about 3 hours of belittling my BIL, telling him to quit living off his sister (my DW), he finally let us go . . . but only to the exit interview.

Among the lies were that you had to own there to stay there because no owners ever deposit to RCI.

The best/highest-priced regular units were the oceanfront/oceanview end units because they had wrap-around lanais. When we came back at 4:00 to check-in, and were led to our unit, it was 4-202, exactly that.

I saw the first whale of the season breach in the bay, at 6:00 Tuesday morniing as I was sitting on our wrap-around lanai, sipping with Kona coffee, watching the sunrise.

It rained 11 of our 12 or 13 days, but we golfed anyway.

We did not run into Georgio, but others since who have known him have confirmed our assessment.
