  • New photos of Ka'anapali Beach Club

We had 11th floor unit 1104 with a fantastic view of the ocean, pool and mountains. Loved this resort and the nice large 1BR/1BA unit. Sunsets from our lanai were just beautiful. Had to get back every evening for Mai Tai cocktail hour so we could sit out on the lanai and watch the sun setting over the ocean and the island of Lanai.

Lots of photos of the resort and our unit in my link below.

    Those were great!

I haven't stayed there but did ask to see a room once....way up there where you are. Sadly, it's too high for me-made my heart pound just walking around up there. They'd never have to worry about me asking for a higher floor!

We were offered a choice of two rooms. One on the 3rd floor and one on the 11th. My DH sometimes has a problem with heights but he felt just fine out on the lanai of the high floor. In fact he chose the higher floor for the great view. On the lower floor you couldn't see as much of the ocean or see the mountains.

All the units on that side of the Ohana tower were classified as deluxe ocean view but only on the upper floors was it possible to see over the neighboring building for the more expansive view. We liked it better than the full
ocean front units because we also had the pool-waterfall-tiki torch view plus we could watch the sunrise over the mountains too.

Very nice pictures and what a view. This makes a vacation really special. It's so nice to sit on the lanai and have that first cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunset if you are not out and about. The 1 BR units are really nice as we stayed there once too. They are very roomy too.

          Excellent Pictures

These are excellent pictures. I stayed at KBC this summer but I was lower in room 304. We were there for 10 days and it is a very nice resort. It is one of the nicer DRI resorts. The rooms are very spacious.

My wife doesn't like to be too high. The third floor unit we had was all oceanfront. Only the beach was under us. It was a great view. Although Maui does not offer as many things to do as Oahu, I loved this resort and could go there again and just stay on the resort.

Great pictures. We've been debating on going to this resort. It's nice to get a good feel of what it's like.

Highly recommend. Everyone seems to love the higher end resorts, i.e. Westin and Marriott, but we thought this place was great!
